A Wedding with History and Sevillian Elegance
Seville as the Setting for an Unforgettable Day
The city of Seville witnessed a wedding with soul. María José and Javier chose two unique enclaves to celebrate their union: the church of Santa María la Blanca, with centuries of history and an intimate atmosphere, and the Hacienda de Orán, a space full of light, vegetation, and traditional Andalusian architecture.
A Ceremony among Columns, Art, and History
The church of Santa María la Blanca, located in the heart of the San Bartolomé neighborhood, offered a solemn, baroque, and profoundly Sevillian setting. Its interior—with its Solomonic columns, soft light, and decorative richness—enveloped every gesture in an atmosphere of reflection and emotion.
There, María José arrived accompanied by her father, while Javier awaited her with a mixture of nerves and joy. A sober and sincere ceremony, marked by shared glances and silences.
Outdoor Celebration at the Hacienda De Orán
After the ceremony, the day continued at the Hacienda de Orán, one of Seville’s most special venues for charming weddings. Surrounded by orange trees, bougainvillea, and Andalusian-style architecture, this hacienda offered the perfect balance between rustic elegance and comfort.
The cocktail party was held in the central courtyard, while the sunset gilded the white walls. The dinner, under a structure illuminated with garlands, was as emotional as it was fun. And the party, pure shared joy.
A Photograph that Accompanies without Interfering
My job was to be there, without interrupting. To observe calmly, to look for the natural light that softens the contours and highlights what is real. To capture the small gestures: a caress on the hand, a concealed tear, an honest laugh.
This report is a reflection of that: an intimate, luminous, and true visual narrative, in two scenarios full of history and meaning.
